The Michigan women’s golf team ended its regular season on a high note after finishing in seventh place out of 18 at the Rebel Intercollegiate Tournament.

The Wolverines remained consistent throughout the three-day tournament —placing seventh after every round — to finish with a combined score of 908.

Senior Min Yean Tan and junior Meagan Bauer paced Michigan. Tan and Bauer both finished with an overall score of 226, tying them for 25th place.

The Wolverines displayed incredible balance throughout the whole tournament. Their best and worst golfers were separated by only six strokes and they posted round scores of 302, 301 and 305.

Tan led the Wolverines in the first round, posting a two-over par score of 74. In the second round, Bauer led the team with a team best one-under par 71. Freshman Yugene Lee and senior Jenn Cleary both led Michigan with a 75 in round three.

Lee, Cleary and freshman Alyssa Shimel rounded out the starting five — posting overall scores of 227, 232 and 233, respectively.

After completing its regular season, Michigan will now begin the postseason, traveling to Glencoe, Ill. to participate in the Big Ten Championship.
