Friday Night Swing

General Admission $5, Students $4

Did you recently watch the Great Gatsby and yearn to mimic the hot steps of 1920s swing? A class on swing dancing, presented by the Ann Arbor Swing Dance Association, may be just the place for you Friday night! Featuring steps from traditional dances with roots in early-mid 20th century America, the class teaches students the Charleston, lindy hop, collegiate shag, east coast swing, balboa and blues. You need not worry if you have two left feet or never went to those Michigan Ball Dance mass meetings — all skill levels are welcome.
