Two summers ago, Reese Witherspoon was transformed into a movie queen after her bubbly lead role in the unexpected hit “Legally Blonde.” Playing Elle Woods, a pink-loving sorority president determined to become a respected Harvard law student, Witherspoon charged her way – literally – into our hearts with her flawless fashion choices and hilarious quips. The movie had every girl wanting to don the “Malibu Barbie” look and practice the “bend and snap.”

So it’s no surprise that this summer’s sequel, “Red, White and Blonde,” has been highly anticipated by Witherspoon fans and blonde-lovers across the nation. Moviegoers would expect the film to have the same light-hearted jokes and simple but engaging plot as the first, but unfortunately, this is not the reality.
