Set in Haiti at the end of the ’70s, “Heading South” (or “Vers le Sud”) is the story of several wealthy middle-aged women who recapture their youth each summer. They leave their responsibilities at home and travel to a beach near Port-au-Prince, where they spend three months swimming, sunbathing and buying the affections of local young men.
