1 Governor Jennifer Granholm will deliver the 2007 State of the State address tonight. The speech will be broadcast on Michigan Public Radio beginning at 7 p.m. Granholm is expected to unveil her “No Job Left Behind” plan to offer the unemployed two free years of community college or job training.

2 Former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue will speak at Rackham Auditorium Friday, Feb. 16 in a lecture on persuasion sponsored by the Business school.

3 Turner Broadcasting System has agreed to pay $2 million in compensation after their advertising campaign for the TV show Aqua Teen Hunger Force last week caused bomb scares throughout Boston, The Boston Globe reported.
