1 In a new poll by The Washington Post, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) is the frontrunner among Democratic candidates for the Presidential nomination. Forty-one percent of Democrats polled favored Clinton. Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill) got 17 percent.

2 The Michigan hockey team swept Alaska-Fairbanks this weekend, beating the team 6-2 on Friday and 5-2 on Sunday. It’s Michigan’s first sweep of a weekend series since November.

3 A Colombian woman named Darling Velez was denied Spanish citizenship because of her name, Reuters reported. Spanish law prohibits names that expose a person to ridicule or leave their gender uncertain.
