1 – At least six University students have reported funds missing from their bank accounts after they responded to fraudulent e-mails asking for personal information in the past month, campus police said. The Department of Public Safety issued a crime alert reminding students that financial institutions never ask for account information over e-mail.

2 – Momofuku Ando, the man behind the dorm-room-essential raman noodles, died at the age of 96 last week. Ando invented the noodles in 1958 as a low-cost food solution, The New York Times reported.

3 – When Anheuser Busch Chairman August Busch III retires, his contract stipulates that draught and bottled beer be delivered to his home, Slate.com reported.
