1. In an effort to roll with the times, Wells Fargo & Co. will sell online safe deposit boxes starting this summer, the Associated Press reported. While unable to store physical items, the “vSafe” will store digital versions of important documents.

2. In 2006, the state of Michigan pulled funding for the Ann Arbor Film Festival due in large part to a news article that cited films like “Boobie Girl” and suggested the art in the festival was sexually suggestive.

3. In what has been criticized as a ploy to fudge crime numbers, the New York Police Department will not count any crimes committed on Feb. 29 in their records because it’s a leap day, The Village Voice reported.
