1 A New Zealand study found that smoking marijuana is a bigger lung cancer risk than smoking cigarettes, Reuters reported. Marijuana smoke contains twice the amount of carcinogens and is inhaled deeper than cigarette smoke. The study warns against a possible lung cancer epidemic if marijuana smoking increases.
