1 – Pedestrians are 22-times more likely to be killed by cars on nights with a new moon – when the moon isn’t visible – than on nights with a full moon, according to a study by University researchers released yesterday.

2 – It took seven years and $158 million to renovate the Detroit Institute of Arts, which will reopen Friday, Nov. 23. The renovation added 57,650 square feet of gallery space.

3 – McDonald’s plans to add espresso coffee, smoothies and breakfast burritos to its menu over the next few weeks, The Associated Press reported.
