A Michigan Daily Video Series

A section of the Penny Stamps School of Art and Design is cordoned off into rows and rows of white square boxes. Every student who graduates with a BFA in Art and Design is given one of these cubicles during their final year to work on their Integrative Project — a year long process that results in a thesis.

As the semester comes to close, this year’s cohort is hitting the halfway point in their projects and those white boxes have turned into works of art themselves. We asked six seniors to give us a tour of their studios and talk about what’s inspiring their creative process.
