– Responsiblities: Regent Maynard is one of eight regents on a board headed by Regent Lawrence Deitch. They meet once a month to debate and vote on important issues pertaining to the University community, including the budget and tuition. The regents are the governing body of the University. They are responsible for conducting presidential searches and selecting the University president. The regents approve nominees for other administrative positions.
