The Michigan basketball team has had a number of stretches
during the Big Ten season when points seemed hard to come by. A
16-point lead vanished against Purdue on Saturday when the
Wolverines failed to make a field goal for almost 11 minutes. Here
are a few of the other breakdowns through eight games of the
conference schedule.

goals

Score before stretch: Michigan leads 19-15

Drought: Nine-plus minutes without a field goal.  It
included 11 missed shots, 8 turnovers.

around after the lapse of offense but never recovered from the
23-point first half. The Spartans kept control throughout for the
win.

at Wisconsin, Jan. 21 – Five minutes without scoring
