A beaker containing water, dry ice, and solution that changes color in response to acid-base changes goes from blue to green. The color change was caused by the release of carbon dioxide into the water from the dry ice, creating a more acidic solution. Chemistry junior Stephen Martin, one of the hands behind this creation, set it up in commemoration of National Mole Day, which was Thursday.
