The Michigan men’s track and field team tallied four individual event victories at the Eastern Michigan Twilight Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Battling wind a rain, redshirt freshman Troy Sneller took first place in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 53.21 seconds. Michigan also saw the return of senior Carl Buchanon to the track for the first time since Jan. 22. Buchanon finished with a time of 56.02 seconds.
The 400-meter dash crown was taken by redshirt sophomore Matthew Campbell with a time of 48 seconds flat. Sophomore Aaron Taylor continued the domination of the dash by taking the 200-yard dash with a time of 21.71 seconds.
Freshman Cody Riffle led a talented young class by winning the discus throw with a toss of 172.0 feet.
The Wolverines will be back in action Thursday, when they attend the three-day Penn Relays in Philadelphia, Penn.
