The Michigan women’s track and field team claimed first place in 11 of 13 events in Saturday’s inaugural Michigan Open at the U-M Indoor Track Building.

Sophomore Tiffany Ofili led the squad, finishing in first place in four different events – the 60-meter dash, 60-meter hurdles, long jump and 200-meter race.

The only track event in which the Wolverines did not emerge victorious was the 400-meter dash. Michigan also won four of the five field events at the meet.
