At the Ark
Neo-Scottish folk band Back of the Moon – named Best Folk Band at the 2005 Scottish Trad Music Awards – returns to The Ark Sunday. Tickets are $15 online, at the Union ticket office or at The Ark box office. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30.

F.O.K.U.S presents Art-I-FAKTS with special guest Justin Bua tonight at the Monroe Trotter Multicultural Center’s first floor and basement. Shaman Drum will host a signing of Bua’s book, “The Beat of Urban Art.” The event is free and runs from 8 until 11 p.m.
On stage
This Saturday, Asha-Ann Arbor presents “Rhythms of Hope,” a night of Indian classical music and dance at the Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre. The performance starts at 5 p.m. and tickets are $12 for students and $25/$35 for general audiences. Proceeds go to the education of underprivileged children in India.
