Want to hear what the other half has to say on this chilly Valentine’s Day? “The Penis Monologues,” a series of intense poetry readings from some of the most talented men on campus, will give you an in-depth look into the mind of the modern man. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $3.
ON STAGE
Shakespeare’s beloved comedy of unrequited love “As You Like It” is brought to life once again courtesy of the Department of Theater and Drama. Shows are Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $9 to $24.
IN CONCERT
Are you a fan of funky dance and bars with a German theme? If so, come check out some of the University”s own when Groove Spoon and Nightdaze take the stage Saturday at the Heidelberg for a night filled with brass-infused funky rock. Doors open at 10 p.m. and tickets are $5 for the 18+ crowd.
AT THE PIG
You’ve all been waiting and the time has finally arrived: It’s The Bang! time at the Blind Pig again. Come take in the sights of (fearless) dancing hipsters, and don’t be afraid to give it a go yourself. It all goes down Saturday at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 or $11 for anyone between 18 and 21.
