Puck strikes fan in back of head

When: Sunday at about 9 p.m.
What: A male fan was injured when he was hit in the back of the head with a puck during the men’s hockey game, the Department of Public Safety reported. He was treated on the scene but refused additional medical attention.
Wallet stolen from CCRB
Where: Central Campus Recreation Building
When: Sunday at about 8 p.m.
What: Pants containing a wallet and identification were stolen while the victim was playing basketball, DPS reported.
Student hero puts out lab equipment fire
Where: E.H. Kraus Building, 830 N. University Ave.
When: Sunday at about 11 p.m.
What: Lab equipment overheated, causing a small fire, DPS reported. The Ann Arbor Fire Department was called but a student extinguished the fire before firefighters arrived on the scene.
Stray puck hits fan in foot
Where: Yost Ice Arena
When: Sunday at about 7 p.m.
What: A wayward puck hit a female spectator in the foot during warm-ups for the men’s hockey game, DPS reported.
