Fraudulent charges made on purchasing card

When: Wednesday at about noon

What: A University staff member reported charges on her purchasing card, used strictly by employees for supplies, travel expenses and business housing, the Department of Public Safety reported. The charges totaled $1,900.

Lights damaged in Mason Hall

Where: Mason Hall

When: Wednesday at about 1:15 p.m.

What: A University staff member reported finding a light fixture and bulb damaged, DPS reported. The damages totaled about $500.

Snoozing man escorted out of League

Where: The Michigan League

When: Wednesday at about 10 a.m.

What: A man unaffiliated with the University was found sleeping near the information desk by a University police officer, DPS reported. He was issued a warning for trespassing.

Police break up rowdy argument

Where: Northwood IV apartments

When: Wednesday at about 1:15 p.m.

What: Neighbors called police to stop a dispute between and a University staff member and another person, DPS reported. Police did not find any signs of assault.
