Gym bag stolen from CCRB
Where: Central Campus Recreation Building
When: Friday at about 9:15 p.m.
What: A gym bag was stolen near the basketball courts in the CCRB, the Department of Public Safety reported. Inside the University student’s bag was his Blackberry, valued at about $150. Police have no suspects.
Unattended backpack looted
Where: Shapiro Undergraduate Library
When: Friday at about 4 p.m.
What: Two calculators and a digital camera were stolen from a University student’s backpack left unattended in an UGLi computer lab between 1:30 and 2 a.m.,
DPS reported. The stolen goods were valued at about $470.
Dogs let off of leashes
Where: Nichols Arboretum
When: Saturday at about 10:50 a.m.
What: A University staff member called to inform police there were dogs without their leashes playing in the Arb, DPS reported. An officer checked the area and found no violations of the ordinance, as all dogs were leashed.
Eight students given MIPs
Where: Mary Markley Residence Hall
When: Sunday at about 1:30 a.m.
What: Eight students were cited with minors in possession of alcohol in Markley early Sunday morning, DPS reported. A student called to inform police there was underaged drinking going on.
