Cash taken from office safe

When: Wednesday at about 1:25 p.m.

What: An employee reported $45 stolen from a locked safe used to store petty cash in an office, the Department of Public Safety reported. Police said the incident occurred sometime between Nov. 21 at 11:30 a.m. and Nov. 26 at 8 a.m. DPS is investigating the case.

Driverless rolling car towed

Where: Lot SC-6, 1200 Kipke Dr.

When: Wednesday at about 8:10 p.m.

What: A driver parked a green Ford Contour outside Crisler Arena before heading to the Michigan basketball game against Boston College, DPS reported. The driver left the car in neutral and it rolled out of the spot and into traffic. Police towed the car. The owner recovered it later.

Camera stolen from theater

Where: Mendelssohn Theater

When: Wednesday at about 12:30 p.m.

What: A woman reported a camera stolen between 2 and 9 p.m. on Nov. 24, DPS reported. The woman left her Canon digital camera, valued at $2,500, unattended, and she returned to find it missing.

Skateboarder warned at Weill

Where: Weill Hall

When: Wednesday at about 2:15 a.m.

What: A DPS officer saw a skateboarder outside the building, DPS reported. Skateboarding is prohibited on campus. The officer gave the skateboarder a verbal warning and escorted them from the area.
