‘U’ student assaulted by OSU fan

When: Saturday at about 3:40 p.m.

What: An Ohio State fan assaulted a University of Michigan student, the Department of Public Safety reported. The victim was treated at the first aid station near the stadium. A first aid employee notified DPS of the situation.

Employee falls, dislocates shoulder

Where: Executive Residence

When: Friday at about 12:30 p.m.

What: A University employee fell and dislocated her shoulder, DPS reported. She immediately called for assistance and was treated at the University Hospital.

iPod stolen from vehicle

Where: Thayer Carport

When: Friday at about 6:40 p.m.

What: The victim reported that his car window was shattered and his iPod was stolen, DPS reported. Together the victim estimated the damage on the car and the stolen iPod to be about $400.

Chemical spills in room

Where: West Quad

When: Friday at about 12 p.m.

What: Twenty-five grams of a chemical were spilled in a room during an experiment, DPS reported. It was cleaned up by the Occupational Safety and Environmental Health staff, and there are no reports of injuries. Police have no suspects.
