What: Police are investigating fraudulent charges on a University purchasing card, the Department of Public Safety reported. About $125 was charged to the card.
Thief breaks into car, swipes GPS
Where: Central Campus Recreation Building
When: Sunday at about 7 p.m.
What: A man returned to his parked car to find his driver’s side window broken and his GPS device stolen, DPS reported. The GPS system was valued at about $400, and another $200 of damage was done to the vehicle. Police have no suspects.
Cash stolen from wallet
Where: University Hospital
When: Sunday at about 9 a.m.
What: Eighty-eight dollars was stolen from a patient’s wallet, the DPS reported. The wallet was left unattended in the patient’s room. Police have no suspects.
Dogs run loose
Where: Nichols Arboretum
When: Sunday at about 6 :15 p.m.
What: Several people were warned not to let their dogs off their leashes in separate incidents, DPS reported. Each owner was given a verbal warning.
