What: A man was apprehended by the Ann Arbor Police Department after a caller reported he was fondling himself late Saturday night and early Sunday morning. The Department of Public Safety canceled a crime alert issued last Thursday in connection to the case. DPS is still seeking witnesses and encouraging them to call the Criminal Investigation Unit at (734) 763-3434 with information.

Laptop left on car stolen

Where: Parking lot, 1305 N. University Ave.

When: Sunday at about 10 p.m.

What: A student’s laptop was stolen after she left the computer unattended on the hood of her car for about an hour, DPS reported. The laptop was valued at about $1,000.

Wallet stolen from CCRB

Where: Central Campus Recreation Building

When: Sunday at about 7 p.m.

What: A student’s wallet was stolen while he was playing basketball, DPS reported. The wallet contained $100 in cash and a credit card.

Man escorted from hospital

Where: University Hospital

When: Sunday at about 3:45 a.m.

What: A man not affiliated with the University was given a warning for trespassing in the building, DPS reported.
