Witnessing a Michigan hockey game at venerable Yost Ice Arena is an experience like no other. Built in 1924 and named after football coach and athletic director Fielding H. Yost, it hosted track and basketball until it became the home of the hockey team in 1973.

Yost holds 6,637 raucous and well-educated fans. These Michigan enthusiasts know their hockey – and their cheers. While rooting on the Wolverines and harassing the opposing team, they turn the majestic barn into a hostile environment at every home game.
