Monday’s Las Vegas shooting, which left at least 59 dead and 500 injured, adds another tally to the United States’ dark history of gun violence.

Starting Jan. 1, 2016, and continuing through Mar. 1, sharpshooters will kill and remove 100 deer from parks and natural areas in the northern and eastern parts of Ann Arbor in an attempt to reduce the overpopulation of deer in Ann Arbor.
