According to a media release from the Ann Arbor Police Department, the AAPD and Detroit field office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Jimmy Huy Nguyen Tuesday. The report said Nguyen is charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree.

On Monday night, a home invasion occurred in the 1900 block of Plymouth Road near Bishop Street, across from North Campus.

According to the report, the invader unlocked a patio door while the resident was sleeping inside and proceeded to steal a laptop.

Two incidents of home invasion are reported to have occurred in off-campus student housing apartments early Sunday and Monday mornings, according to a crime alert issued this afternoon by the University of Michigan Divis

This morning, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a sexual assault occurred at the 1100 block of East University near Prospect Street.

Wednesday night, four suspects were arrested for committing an aggravated assault at the West Hall Arch at the intersection of South University Avenue and East University Avenue. Three suspects were taken to jail and the fourth was released pending warrant authorization.

An Ann Arbor man, Shamz Tabriz, was formally charged on May 9 after reportedly breaking into a 19-year-old woman’s apartment on South U, sexually assaulting her two roommates, and then assaulting her.
