“College GameDay” is coming back to Ann Arbor.

ESPN’s college football preview show will film live from campus Saturday morning starting at 9 a.m., ahead of the Michigan football team’s game against Michigan State at 3:30 p.m. The show made the announcement via Twitter late Saturday night after the Spartans finished off Rutgers, 31-24, remaining undefeated. The Wolverines, meanwhile, will come in riding a three-game shutout streak after blanking Northwestern on Saturday, 38-0.

GameDay last came to Ann Arbor on Sept. 7, 2013, when Michigan beat Notre Dame, 41-30, in Michigan Stadium’s second night game. That day, the show filmed from Ingalls Mall, but this year, that area north of the Diag is under construction. The show has not announced a specific site yet.

Michigan State has won six of seven in the teams’ series — five of which came by two touchdowns or more — but the rivalry holds extra meaning this year. The Spartans should maintain their spot in the top five, while Michigan should move up from No. 18. Both teams, along with Ohio State and Penn State, are atop the Big Ten East at 2-0.
