Jerusalem Garden is an excellent and vibrant restaurant with moderate prices. The interior is inviting, foreshadowing the meal ahead. Everything is fresh, especially the fattoush and tabouli, and all of the food is delicious. All are able to eat here, since Jerusalem Garden offers many vegetarian, gluten free and halal offerings. The menu ranges from sandwiches to plates to salads and sides — there’s also a sizable dessert selection.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant has mainly offered take-out, but the food has not lost any of its punch. Nothing ever becomes soggy (which is incredibly important for their fries), and portions are the perfect size. Also, they have hot sauce in little plastic containers, which is a step above the normal packets one finds at a fast-food restaurant. My go-to order, whether in person or at home, is always the kafta plate with hummus (substituted for baba ganoush) and a fattoush salad with fried pita.
