Visual Statement: Mudbowl 2017
For 84 years, a football game arguably more exciting than the NCAA game it precedes has brought excitement to tailgaters and alumni on homecoming weekend. Hosted by the Michigan Mudbowl Club, the event takes place the morning of homecoming Saturday each year and raises funds for Mott Children's Hospital. More often than not the chaos going on in the sidelines is more entertaining than the game itself. I attended Mudbowl for the first time last year and was awestruck. The combination of the atmosphere, spectators, and fraternity members attempting to play football in five inches of mud is something words can't even begin to do justice.
