Wolverines end winning streak but still dominate games in New Jersey

The Michigan water polo team traded West Coast tournaments for East Coast Conference play this weekend and brought its dominance with it. While a close loss to No. 10 Princeton ended the Wolverines’ seven-game win streak, they still came out on top against George Washington, Brown and No. 20 Harvard.

For a team that has emphasized the importance of a strong defensive core, Saturday’s game showed the flaws in the Wolverines’ play. Still, Michigan was able to overcome its shortcomings to beat Indiana, 13-12.
