The Michigan football team accepted a new challenge– known as the Running Man Challenge– after the football team posted a video on various social media accounts last Friday featuring several players doing the Running Man dance.

“We can have fun too,” the team’s tweet read.

The tweet currently has more than 3,000 retweets and 4,000 likes. In the video, fullback Khalid Hill, center back Channing Stribling, offensive lineman David Dawson and linebacker Mike McCray perform the Running Man dance move in various athletic department offices and training facilities.

The Running Man craze began earlier this month with a viral Instagram video from the University of Maryland men’s basketball team. Varsity teams from across the country soon made videos of their own.

In response to his players’ participation and dancing efforts, Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh tweeted in support on Saturday.
