Paul McCartney, at 73 years old, played 41 songs, including two encores, during his concert at Joe Louis Arena on Wednesday. Sir Paul began his three hour set with The Beatles’ classic “Eight Days a Week” and played a variety of other Beatles songs throughout, in addition to his songs with Wings and even his newest album “New.” Before playing “Yesterday,” McCartney made sure to show off his acoustic guitar, which has featured a Detroit Red Wings sticker on it for close to forty years.
