Parade participants celebrate Fourth of July from cars in one of the nation’s oldest Fourth of July Parades in Bristol, Rhode Island. Due to social distancing mandates caused by COVID-19, the parade was significantly reduced for 2020. Traditionally, Bristol hosts one of the largest and oldest Fourth of July Parades in the country, with the original parade taking place in 1785.
