In this episode, host Catherine Nouhan talks with Public Policy senior Lauren Schandevel and LSA seniors Meaghan Wheat and Zach Tingley who created the social class and inequalities studies minor. This is a new minor in the Women's Studies department available next fall, making the University of Michigan the first university in the country to offer an academic program focused specifically on social class. Listen to them discuss the process of getting it approved and how they hope other universities adopt their work.
