We come to you with the Arts section’s first B-side of the semester — but not in the way you might be used to. Due to a decrease in foot traffic on campus amid the pandemic and changing and unpredictable revenue streams, The Daily has scaled back print production to only Wednesdays this semester, and special sections like the B-Side will no longer be printed as inserts. Instead, our special sections will be digitally repackaged on Magnify sites.

Sure, we once adorned the wall surrounding the Arts desk with the print editions of the B-Side, and we were proud to do so. But at Daily Arts, we don’t see this as a loss. Rather, we welcome it as an opportunity.

Now, our writers and editors are exploring multimedia storytelling and collaboration with our talented staffers from other sections like never before, and exploring themes in arts and culture in even more experimental ways than we did previously.

But that’s enough from me: Why don’t you take a look for yourself? Click here.
