This week’s episode of The Daily Weekly is part 1 of a 2-part series, in which we’ll be looking at recruitment at the University of Michigan — otherwise known as the job/internship hunt experience. We’ll be focusing this week on the resources students have for finding and securing these jobs. This, of course, varies dramatically across schools and colleges on campus. Host Jen Meer spoke to School of Engineering senior Justin Rogers, and LSA junior Lorraine Furtado about their job-search experiences. Additionally, Don Beckwithe, a career coach at the University’s Career Center, spoke with us about the work that he does and how the Career Center works to helps students. Lastle, Maya Goldman talked to students at the scene of an Engineering career fair to see how they felt about the process.
