The Launch PAC: Two UMich students found organization dedicated to electing young Democrats to office

Public Policy senior Ruben Glasser and LSA senior Paris Shusterfallou co-founded The Launch PAC earlier this year. The organization focuses on financially supporting young Democrats running for office, particularly in smaller local races. Shusterfallou emphasizes the need for organizations that exclusively focus on electing young candidates, not that “there’s not a lot of donors who give to these young candidates, over and over again.”

Wolverine hockey freshmen have made their presence felt early on

Although Michigan Hockey has only played three games this season, the team’s freshmen players have proven to be valuable contributors. Together, defenseman Luke Hughes and forward Mackie Samoskevich have one goal and two assists. The Wolverines face their first major challenge Friday with an away game at fifth-ranked Minnesota Duluth.
