Indigenous Peoples’ Day Symposium: a philosophical discussion on tribal governance and the Ogemakaan
The University of Michigan chapter of Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) held a symposium in the Union on Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Attendees learned about Anishinaabe tribes, their laws and their recent efforts to make philosophy more accessible to people across a variety of backgrounds.

University announces results of 2021 DEI survey, plans for DEI 2.0
The University of Michigan released the results of its 2021 survey about the DEI climate on campus as it wraps up its first DEI five-year strategic plan. Representatives from the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are developing DEI 2.0, a new five-year plan focused on taking action to achieve equity and inclusion goals.
