U-M vs. OSU Rivalry Edition 2021

Each year, the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry is one of the most anticipated football games of the season. In preparation of The Game, The Michigan Daily puts together a special edition highlighting rivalry-focused content with The Lantern, Ohio State’s student newspaper. Content about the rivalry between the two programs and a fundraising race to $10,000 go live today at therivalrygame.com, and a print version of the paper will be available on Thursday. ‘Justice was not given’: Survivors of Conforth, Anderson share experiences at forum

Six survivors spoke during a forum at the Michigan League, titled “Survivors Speak Up Against U-M’s Pattern Of Enabling Sexual Abuse” on Saturday. The event, hosted amid heightened community focus on sexual misconduct because of the allegations against late University athletic doctor Robert Anderson, addressed the University’s mishandling of sexual misconduct on campus and discussed policy changes to prevent future abuse.

LSA Student Government holds panel for candidates, talk platforms

Candidates for LSA Student Government shared their platforms this weekend as students prepare to cast their votes. Candidates discussed topics such as sexual misconduct and mental health on campus. After a tough start, the Wolverines edged Penn State in the final minutes of Saturday’s game. The team’s persistence and performance under high pressure were key to securing a crucial win in Happy Valley –- a win that Michigan needs to have a shot at the Big Ten championship. Next week, the Wolverines will play the University of Maryland Terrapins in their final game before their highly anticipated rivalry matchup against Ohio State.
