Whitmer presents $76.3 million for Michigan colleges and universities

Gov. Whitmer plans to “put Michiganders first and deliver on the issues that matter most to Michigan families,” in her recently proposed state budget. The budget includes a 5% increase in funding for all public colleges and universities in the state. Read on to learn more about the proposal.

SAT goes digital reignites the debate on standardized testing

In late January, the College Board announced the SAT will switch to a virtual format and will alter the reading and math sections. According to College Board representatives, the test is being changed to make it more accessible for schools and students during the pandemic. University Spokesperson Kim Broekhuizen told The Michigan Daily that the University is unsure of how the change will impact its admissions process, but it remains committed to a holistic approach.

Michigan fails to contain Liddell in loss
