Where to receive your booster shot on campus
Have you gotten your booster shot? On Dec. 9, 10 and 13, visitors can receive a COVID-19 booster shot at one of the University Health Services’ walk-in clinics. Students will be able to walk in and receive either their first, second or booster COVID-19 vaccine, or a flu shot, no appointment necessary.

University of Michigan to spend $37.6 million giving faculty and staff $1,500 ‘recognition payments’
Thousands of University of Michigan employees will receive one-time, $1,500 “recognition payments.” The payments, which will be distributed on Dec. 13, are in “recognition of [employees’] efforts in these extraordinary times.” Michigan Medicine previously distributed similar payments earlier this year to eligible employees.

Ann Arbor City Council discusses Community Climate Action Millage to appear on November 2022 ballot
The Ann Arbor City Council approved a ballot measure that will collect one million dollars in the next 20 years to fund A2Zero, the city’s carbon neutrality initiative, through a millage. The Community Climate Action Millage is a property tax that would require homeowners to pay $1 on every $1,000 of taxable value on their property.
