Football fans saw the fickle nature of Michigan weather this weekend when it swung from a sunny, warm 70 degrees Friday to a chilling low of 30 degrees Saturday, along with a dusting of snow on The Big House, during Michigan’s final home football game.
Despite the cold, Michigan fans celebrated their 20-10 win against Indiana by taking to the field and making snow angels.
Snow fell heavily during the game as well, forcing the players to play on a slippery field. With one game left, Michigan is 10-1-0 this season.
The victorious, snowy end was the last home game of the season — a potential relief after Michigan’s loss to Iowa 14-13 last Saturday. Michigan is currently ranked at No. 3 in the AP poll.
The game also led to a different kind of ranking. According to Michigan Football’s Twitter account, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has reached 20 wins faster than all but one another coach in Michigan history.
