The last 10 seconds of the Michigan football team’s game against Michigan State on Saturday shocked everyone inside Michigan Stadium — Spartans and Wolverines alike — causing fans to remain frozen in awe for 10 minutes. But for one fan, the shock sent them into cardiac arrest.

According to Diane Brown, University police spokesperson, a fan suffered a heart attack in the game’s final moments and was transported to University Hospital.

Brown said the individual remains in the hospital in stable condition as of Sunday morning.

The individual’s name has not been released.
