A home invasion was reported at approximately 1 a.m. Friday, May 4, on North Campus by the University of Michigan’s Division of Public Safety and Security.
The invasion occurred on Northwood IV, 1600 block of McIntyre street. According to the report, the resident heard a door open in her apartment, alongside footsteps downstairs.
The suspect gained entry via an unsecured patio door in the residence. Though nothing was reported stolen, the suspect fled the premise when the resident investigated the noise.
The suspect was described as male and wearing all black clothing.
