A former Detroit Lions player has been charged with criminal sexual conduct after he reportedly touched a University of Michigan Health System staffer in an inappropriate manner.
According to the University’s Division of Public Safety and Security, Mark Grabowski, a former defensive lineman who now works as a delivery truck driver, intentionally bumped into and rubbed himself on a female staff member while making a delivery to UMHS in May. He has been charged with fourth degree criminal sexual conduct and assault and battery. He is free on a $10,000 bond.
This is not the first time Grabowski has attracted the attention of law enforcement. In 2013, Grabowski served jail time for unlawful retention of a child by a parent. He was also investigated for attempting to hire fellow inmates to kill his ex-wife and a judge, but a prosecutor ultimately declined to press charges. A preliminary examination is set for Sept. 3.
