A University of Michigan student was hit by a car early Sunday morning and is now in the University Hospital receiving treatment for her injuries.
There were no details provided about the extent of the student’s injuries.
The 21-year-old student was crossing Hill Street near Oakland Avenue when the accident occurred, according to the Ann Arbor Police Department.

According to Sergeant Bill Clock of the Ann Arbor Police Department, the driver did stop when the accident occurred and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
