An armed man wearing a mask climbed into the window of a house and robbed two residents at gunpoint on the 900 block of South State Street at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, according to a crime alert from the University’s Division of Public Safety and Security.
“An unknown man climbed in a window and confronted a resident while brandishing a handgun,” the alert, sent 9:30 Tuesday morning, read. “The suspect left the house after robbing two residents.”
The suspect was described by witnesses as being a male, approximately 5’10” tall and wearing all black clothes with a mask over his face while carrying a dark-colored backpack, the alert stated.
