A 26-year-old man was admitted into a local hospital with serious injuries Sunday night after he was shot outside of his home near the intersection of Arbordale Street and Pauline Boulevard.

The shooting occurred at 8 p.m. on July 15. According to The Detroit News, the Ann Arbor Police Department is still investigating the incident, but the shooting is not believed to be a random act of violence. The victim is said to have known the shooter. 

At this time, no arrests have been made.
